losing this one child to another school, how am I going to handle moving to a new town?This sweet friend is one of my scrapbookers. She's been a student off and on at our school since she was in kindergarten AND she's leaving us again. I found out Monday that tomorrow is her last day. It's breaking my heart. So, we made her a scrapbook today in club.
But, when I got home, I started thinking about my impending move. I'll be moving to a new town, new district, new school for the first time in 17 years - and I'm worried. If I'm so broken up about losing this one child, how will I feel when I move and lose them all? or they lose me? Tough thought.
But, you know what makes it better? This blog. Megan Q (pictured) found my blog last night and left me comments... and I know that she and others will find me daily and I'll stay connected to them in a small way. Thank goodness for teaching and scrapbooking AND all they've brought to my life.

It is a good thing this internet. No matter where someone moves, it is so easy in this day and age to stay connected through e-mails, text messagings, blogs, etc. Maybe that thought will ease the pain a little of moving. Sorry you are sad. Only time will make it better!!!!!

This is very touching - it must be just as hard for Meagan as it is for you, harder probably. You sound like a great teacher.
