My first comment to yesterday's post thought that my entry MIGHT have been an April Fool's joke (love ya' Kim). Nope. No joke. I really am going to update my blog every couple of days (this update doesn't really count).
I turned in my resignation today at work. We're moving at the end of the school year. I'm looking forward to the move, but finding it very difficult to leave a school district that I've taught in for 16 years. There's comfort here and I'm more than a little scared about what the future holds. Will a new district want me? I sure hope so. I've got great recommendations and a spotless record. I'm a good teacher and I reach kids... but, will they want ME? That remains to be seen. If not, then I'll have LOTS more time to scrapbook and blog - LOL - But you know what? It's all GOOD. In 8 weeks we'll leave here and start a new life. I'd better get working on that mini album... "old house, new house". I think I'll use Maya Road's House chipboard book.

Moves are always exciting - a little sad, but lots of hope and anticipation. Any school district would be LUCKY to have you! You'll find a job in no time.
Okay, it's nice to see you blogging again. I was tired of calling you on the phone to get the scoop... LOL :)
