Where did it go?

I've been sick all week and stayed home today. I know, I know, I didn't get online and whine about it cuz, well, I just didn't. I was trying to be a big girl. But I'm done being a big girl, I JUST WANT TO SCREAM! Listen to what happened. I go to the doctor today at 3:40pm... he says, "yes, you are sick, you need antibiotic and decongestant, and I'm prescribing you a muscle relaxer for your cough and back pain" (Check back tomorrow and I'll post tomorrow about why my back hurts... which is REALLY a funny story!... well, kind of, if it weren't for the back hurting so badly). So anyway, the doctor sends my prescription via electronic mail to Walgreen's and tells me it will be ready after 5:30. So, I go to pick up my meds at 5:45. Is anyone guessing what happened? you're right. Walgreen's didn't have my prescription ready. They didn't even have my prescription... it never made it into their system. And guess what else? THE STINKIN DOCTOR'S OFFICE IS CLOSED! It's almost 6:00pm. The answering service says, "he's not on call, you'll have to call him in the morning." Call him in the morning? I've not slept more than 3 hours a night in the last 4 nights and she's says, call him in the morning? I woke up with dried snot all over my entire face this morning (which I thought was funny until I'm told, "sorry, your prescription is not here")... now I know I have THAT to look forward to again tomorrow morning b/c I need a stinkin antibiotic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't breathe. I sound like a frog (in between all the coughing) and my husband is 2 hours away. I hate being sick! and I really hate knowing that I'm not going to feel better tomorrow b/c I don't have the medicine I need! There, I'm finished whining - (at least in public).
