I've Spent the Entire Day

working on my blog. To you it may seem like I didn't do much, but trust me, I've been at this for HOURS. What may seem like small changes to you, have been painstaking for me. I can't change the color of a title without agonizing over it. Is the color pleasing to the eye, not too bright, not too dull? Is it big enough to read without being so big it overtakes the page? In which order should my links be? How much should I tell about myself? Ugh! These blogging decisions are tough! But, I'm GOING to get BETTER at it. Must get faster too! Indecision usually leads to terrific changes in my projects and pages, but indecision about my blog seems to be crippling. LOL

Next weekend, I'm going to try and re-work the header. My husband likes the picture of him, but thinks I need to change out the pictures of the girls. Those pictures are only about a year old (though I still love them), but the girls have changed so much. Ahhhh, something tells me that picking new pics for the blog header is going to be a 48 hour event.

I'd like to thank Marci! Through all my blog suffering and inadequacies, Marci is always there. She's not ONCE given up on me. In fact, I checked her blog today and she's got me listed right at the top of the blogs she reads daily... oh, maybe that's because my name starts with an "A" - LOL But seriously Marci, THANKS for continuing to check on me. Thanks for your gentle (and not so gentle) reminders about updating my blog, and thanks for being a huge supporter! I truly appreciate you.

And now... Marci, I'm stalking YOU! Yeppers. I ambled on over to Dixie Pieces today and signed up...

tee hee! Well, actually I met Mom and Brenna at CHA-S and they asked me to be a guest designer in one of the upcoming months (I don't know which one yet). They were super sweet and the papers they had picked out for the upcoming kits were delicious, so I couldn't say no. When I got to Dixie Pieces to check it out, I found YOU! Can't wait to work with you there! I vaguely remember knowing that you were on the design team there, but it didn't click until I saw your picture on their web page. How fun it will be to work with you there (even if it's just for a month).

I also visited Homegrown Scrapbooks today (and signed up). I met Stephanie at CHA-S and we immediately hit it off! Kindred spirits... and both have a passion for teaching Language Arts and scrapbooking (among other things). Well, I was watching what Stephanie was buying and couldn't help thinking that I needed to check out her kit club. So I did. And Stephanie puts together some really GREAT kits. The coolest part is that they are quarterly kits. Fun idea, she packs them FULL of great stuff. So, I signed up there too! What a fun group of ladies they seem to be.
Well, I don't have a finished project that I want to put up just yet, but I do have a funny picture. My baby brother (who is now 38 years old) always makes the funniest faces. Once in awhile I get lucky enough to have the camera in my hand. This is one of those times. What's even funnier than this face is that when I pull my hair back in a headband and make the same face, we look just alike. I'll have to get my husband to take a picture of me... and post it later this week. If I have the guts. Unless of course, my little brother kills me first for posting this picture! LOL Love you Bro!
