and I haven't been going to church like I should. SO, we got up EARLY this morning (about 5am), showered and got dressed for church. Then we drove an hour to meet him, his wife and their 2 children at their church in Round Rock. It felt good!
When we got back to their house I said, "hey Bro, I was looking through some old pictures and the last picture I have that you and I are in the same picture was about 9 years ago... and the last picture that I have of you and I (without anyone else in the picture) is um.... NEVER!"
So, we went into his backyard and my DH took pictures. As is par for the course, he wouldn't be a little brother without being a PILL... he made some more of his silly faces (think back to the layout I posted a couple of weeks ago). Well, this time, I fought back with a face or two of my own. The only difference is that my funny faces are cute! LOL
Nolan DID manage to get a really good, serious picture of us. We see each other pretty often and just don't seem to have a camera around. Actually, we DO have the camera(s) around... it's just that he and I are always the ones BEHIND the lenses. From now on I'm going to make it a point to step out from behind the lense every month or so. I don't want another 30 years to go by without a picture of me and one of the 5 most important men in my life.
Love you Bro! Next on the list?... corner my sister for some pictures. While I DO have SOME pictures of she and I, the last one I have of just the two of us is more than 10 years old. That's just not going to work for me anymore.
